It's as if the whole world is conspiring to keep Angel and Addison from being happy together...
I enjoyed this sad and mysterious little VN~ The minimalist art style pared with the NVL-style text presentation worked quite well, and the music was simply delightful, heheheh.
I hope we get to see more of this story someday; I'm terribly curious to learn more about Angel and what we see of her eventual fate~
i enjoyed this bittersweet little story a lot. the visual direction is pretty simplistic but i think it serves the overall tone really well, not to mention it kept things nice and readable. making some of the lineart animate was a really neat touch, and i loved the little text wobbling effects too. despite not spending much time with them, i can't help but feel for Angel and Addison... the final moments between them were very sweet.
I had a lot of fun making music for this project!
And the story is so dark... just the way I like it
I felt so bad for all of them, for Addison and Angel and how pretty much everything was against them before the end of the world. Makes me wonder if in some way it was worth it just to bring them together, but the sadness and tragedy are still there.
I really liked this VN. The use of black and white outline art did just as good a job of illustrating the emotions being felt as sprites would've, if not more. And the writing was superb.
The only thing is that sometimes the last line of a scene before changing to another one would cut off before it finished loading.
But still, this was really good, thank you for making it!!
thank you for writing this! i really appreciate you taking the time to do so <:3
as for the some words not completely loading, it is done intentionally. i intended on making some parts of scenes as jarring and disorienting as i could through what i could do in ren'py. i apologize if it didn't come across as that <:0c
but otherwise and again, i really, really appreciate the comment! cheers!
